DIX

With DIX reeds we want to continue the tradition of reeds produced in the Saxon town of Gera. They have their own tradition and a specific sound quality which is particularly characterized by a light tonal setting, quickly responsive to play in pianissimo and forte fortissimo. The reeds were primarily used by manufacturers of Helicons and various diatonic accordions like the Swiss organs and various Viennese models, and also, to a small extent, in chromatic accordions.
