Description
With the DIX reeds we want to continue the tradition of reeds produced in the Saxon town of Gera. They have their own tradition, a specific sound, which is characterized in particular by a light tone, quickly responding to pianissimo and forte fortesimo playing. The reeds are riveted to voice plates made of Zn, Ms or duralumin. The reeds were mainly used by the heligon and diatonic accordion makers Swyzerörgerli and, to a lesser extent, by chromatic accordion makers. The reeds are produced by electroerosion technology.
